Kia Ora Artline,
On behalf of our nana Rangituhi’s whaanau we would like to mihi to each and every one of you who contributed to our nanas stunning kōhatu.
I made enquiries and visited multiple businesses within the BOP & Hamilton and it felt like that a business. Walking into artline for the first time I felt this place was going to put our whaanau first and they did exactly that.
From the initial meeting of Ben’s dad, sister & then Ben himself I felt this family owned business cared for whaanau. There were no limits other than the constraints of our budget. You made sure we understood you could adjust our design to suit our budget. I can still hear Ben say you can have what you like, just ensure we allow enough time for the mahi to take place.
I am truly greatful to the team Alfie for the layout and design and helping with installation. To Ryan and Jenni who also helped with edits, adjusted colours and who were happy to make last minute multiple edits. To Ryan who calved a stunning piece for our nan. Appreciate the amount of detail, consideration and thought gone into our nana’s headstone.
When Ben and Alfie installed the headstone I could see the detail and high standards you both had from measuring, to getting it to the right spot down to the millimetre and cleaning up afterwards.
We had or nanas unveiling yesterday and her stone took everyone’s breath away. Our whaanau thought her kōhatu was a true reflection of who she was, our mareikura.
This has been a beautiful journey for us and we thank you for being a big part of that.
He aha te mea nui ō te aō, he tangata, he tangata, he tangata.
What is the most important thing in this world. It is people, it is people, it is people.
Nga mihi nui aroha kia koutou katoa.
Shanah and whaanau
